Nicola Gatta Quattrocento Extra Brut

Nicola was born in Gussago, in the very center of the Franciacorta sparkling wine region. He grew up in a wine producing family, but after being introduced to the natural wine world he decided to start producing wine with as little manipulation and intervention as possible. Nicole practices biodynamic farming and he takes this philosophy into the wine cellar with spontaneous fermentation, very low sulfite levels and minimal intervention. The soil of Gussago is very similar to the most important French Champagne regions, and that is why Nicola's mission is to produce the very best sparkling wine all the while taking his own wine making path. That path led Nicola to renounce the Franciacorta D.O.C.G as they tried to restrict and control how he could produce his sparking wine. For the last 5 years Nicola has produced wine under his own label using his exceptional talents to produce the highest quality sparkling by using natural methods and his very own style.
