Intensely brilliant and pure in both its ruby red color and aromatics, the wine shows a fresh strawberry, raspberry and cherry character. On the palate, dry yet fruity, round, fresh and lively notes are delectably harmonious. Acidity and tannins are perfectly balanced and the finish is clean.
Delicious with cured pork meats such as salami or mortadella or a variety of pasta dishes such as tortellini or lasagne.

Nice nose, offering ripe forest fruits, elderberries and a hint of aromatic bark. Medium body with lots of fruit, lightly firm tannins and a fresh finish with some decent length. From organically grown grapes.

For over a century, Medici Ermete has been producing an exquisite range of Lambrusco. Remigio Medici founded the winery in the late nineteenth century, with the aim of making the best possible wines from the family vineyards, located between the Via Emilia and the first of the hills in the Enza valley. Remigio's son Ermete expanded the business before handing over the reins to his sons Valter and Giorgio, who carried on the work of their father and grandfather.
Today the company owns 60 hectares of land spread out among the finest wine-growing areas in Emilia-Romagna and is focused on producing Lambrusco of exceptional quality and freshness by using estate grown at low yields and employing meticulous and skillful winemaking. Medici Ermete is considered to be one of the premier producers of Lambrusco and was recognized for taking Lambrusco to new heights with a Tre Bicchieri award for their top bottling- the single vineyard Concerto.
Representing the topmost expression of a Champagne house, a vintage Champagne is one made from the produce of a single, superior harvest year. Vintage Champagnes account for a mere 5% of total Champagne production and are produced about three times in a decade. Champagne is typically made as a blend of multiple years in order to preserve the house style; these will have non-vintage, or simply, NV on the label. The term, "vintage," as it applies to all wine, simply means a single harvest year.
Extending from the Adriatic coast in the east, to the border of the Mediterranean Ligurian region in the west, Emilia Romagna is a large, central Italian region focused on a wide array of gastronomic specialties. The plains of Emilia host four well-defined subzones for its famous, lightly sparkling red, Lambrusco. The more coastal Romagna has the capacity to produce impressive wines from Sangiovese and Albana.
