"The top cuvee here, the 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee du Quet, which is from a single vineyard on the high, rocky plateau of Chateauneuf du Pape near Cabrieres and Gardiole, has a saturated ruby/purple color and a tight but gorgeous nose of kirsch liqueur, raspberries, plum, seaweed, and licorice. Medium to full-bodied with ripe tannin, superb depth, and a layered, concentrated mouthfeel, this is a beauty to drink over the next 12-15+ years."
