Intense and complex with red fruits including plum, cherry and wild berry jams pink and green pepper, vanilla and nutmeg lead to a hint of herbal balsamic. Soft and warm palate is supported by good acidity and dense tannic structure. fruity and spicy notes are well defined on the palate. Harmonic, intense and persistent. Made from 100% Croatina.
Located in the small village of Vho, approximately 5 kilometers from Tortona in Piedmont, lives the boutique winery La Colombera. Owned and operated by expert wine maker Piercarlo and his daughter, an oenologist and apprentice wine maker, Elisa Semino, the wines of La Colombera represent 22 hectars of vineyards. In 2000 they decided to cultivate a very old and difficult white grape variety, Timorasso. Since then, Piercarlo and Elisa have furiously studied this ancient grape variety and planted vines in five different vineyards with the aim of cultivating Timorasso grapes unique and distinct from one another.
