Simply a fun and charming red wine, serious enough for meals, yet delightful enough for all who imbibe. The 2014 J. Lohr Valdiguie is deep, young ruby, purple color; ripe and aromatic fruit aroma, some flowers and candy, very charming, fine depth; medium bodied, textured and frisky on the palate; dry, nice acidity, well balanced; ripe, grapey fruit flavors; medium finish, soft and fresh in the aftertaste. Serve with roast organic chicken and have a grand time. (Tasted: June 14, 2015, San Francisco, CA)
