Somm Note

Winemaker Notes

Bright straw in color, it has an intense and fruity nose, in which stone and citrus fruits as well as white flowers are prominent. It has a mineral background and slight hints of fennel and freshly cut grass. In the mouth it is very creamy, fruity, and elegant, with its characteristic mineral and slightly saline notes, which together with the acidity give it a fresh and persistent finish.

Ideal for appetizers, fish, and seafood. We love to enjoy it with Galician a feira-style octopus.

Professional Ratings

This light-straw-colored wine has a bouquet of apricot, grapefruit and honeysuckle. It has a creamy texture and flavors of Granny Smith apple, lemon zest, roasted yellow pepper and herbes de Provence that culminate in a zesty finish.
    Editors' Choice
  • 90
Linear and salty, this vibrant white features floral accents to the nectarine, preserved lemon and crushed almond flavors. Snappy, lightly spiced finish. Godello and Doña Blanca.
  • 90
Sliced green apples, lemon grass and chalk on the nose, following through to a very fresh and tangy palate, teeming with limey, high acidity. Textured, pure and mouthwatering.

The bodega lies in the district of Pieros. With its typical local architecture, the old style traditional farmhouse is in perfect harmony with its beautiful surroundings in a landscape which bears witness to the passage of countless pilgrims making their way to Santiago de Compostela.

The installations are functional and follow traditional techniques, which have been improved to ensure the utmost care for the production processes.
