Freshly baked berry cobbler, cream soda, a vein of citrus and a waft of subtle smoke envelope the senses. Soft and supple on the palate, the wine delivers notes of fresh, juicy red plum, cranberry and zesty pie cherry. The finish lingers with an endearing hint of sweetness.

The 2013 Erath Pinot Noir plays it light and delicate, a pure expression of the varietal, no bells, no whistles and no going too far- this is the way it should always be. Pair this with lightly grilled salmon. Light red, garnet color; dried strawberries, nice; medium depth; medium bodied, easy; dry, medium acidity, good balance; red fruit; medium finish. Drinks well now.
