Winemaker Notes
Clos Henri Sauvignon Blanc displays a mixture of tropical and citrus fruits, minerals and flinty notes. In the mouth the wine is complex with flinty minerality, has smooth elegant structure and is dry with great balance and length.

Wine & Spirits
The Henri Bourgeois family of Sancerre began planting their Renwick vineyard in 2001, developing a distinctive style of Marlborough sauvignon blanc through their farming techniques, as well as long aging on the fine lees. Their 2012 is an earthy, soil-driven wine with depths of flavor from the lees. The golden color and floral intensity makes it a wine for white meats, such as veal schnitzel.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Presenting relatively delicate notes of yuzu zest, lemon peel and orange blossoms intermingled with hints of fresh peaches, lime leaves and lemongrass, the 2012 Sauvignon Blanc is medium-bodied and tightly knit in the mouth with great fruit and acid tension. It finishes with great persistence and freshness. Drink it now to 2016+.

Nestled under the southern foothills of Marlborough's Wairau Valley, Clos Henri is the wine estate meticulously established and organically run by the famous Sancerre wine growing family of Henri Bourgeois.
Gathering 10 generations of know-how with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, the family has broadened their horizons and continue to craft exceptional wines in the New World. From the three different soil types of the estate, the family uses the best of French and New World winegrowing techniques to capture the essence of Marlborough's intense character and reveal the identity and depth of the Clos Henri terroir.
