Winemaker Notes
This stunning vineyard sits on a south-facing wind-swept slope high above the Columbia River. The vines are planted in soils of flood deposits that are more than 10,000 years old. Heat throughout the growing season is moderated by the strong wine patterns while cool nights provide optimum conditions for flavor development. Complex and elegant wine with focused flavors and silky elegant tannins.

Wine & Spirits
A lot of wine for the money, this is rich and generous right from its initial scents of figs and macerated plums. It feels ripe and concentrated, yet it never goes over the top, reined in by a sumptuous caramelly oak component, neither overbearing nor overt, that gives it the stuffing to age.
-
Wine Spectator
Polished and well-structured, with lively black cherry, green tea, toasty and spice flavors that flesh out on the finish, ending with refined tannins. Drink now through 2024.
-
James Suckling
Aromas of strawberry, blueberry, toffee and cloves. It is medium-to full-bodied with velvety tannins. Smooth and textured on the palate. Flavorful, polished finish. Drink or hold.
-
Wine Enthusiast
Aromas of vanilla, herb, cherry and baking spice are followed by a full-bodied palate. The tightly wound tannins need some time to unspool. The oak plays prominently, but it's quite tasty with coffee lingering on the finish. Give it a short decant if drinking in the near term.
