Winemaker Notes
The 1988 harvest produced Cabernets and Merlots that came out to be very colorful, and structured. This wine was then aged in one-year-old used Chateau Lafite Rothschild barrels before bottling.

Beautiful nose of currant and dark chocolate follow through to a full body, with velvety tannins and a long, fruity finish. I love the texture to this wine. Lots in reserve for aging. Excellent for a second wine.
