Winemaker Notes
The "Les Cras" vineyard is located in the famous village of Chambolle-Musigny in the Côte de Nuits, south of Dijon. This vineyard derives its name from the word "crai" which designates a sub-soil formed by an agglomeration of pebbles set in a clay base. It is from this 6.87 acre vineyard that we selected the Pinot Noir grapes for this "Signature Reserve" Chambolle-Musigny.
Intense colour and purplish highlights. A nose redolent of ripe fruit and violet. The boldness of the attack paired with a sensation of fullness supported by very rounded tannins comes as quite a surprise. The fruit is echoed on the palate with a touch of jam, finishing on a slightly animal note.
