Tasting Set Includes:
- Forge Cellars Classique Dry Riesling
The intent with Classique is to harmonize all of the snapshots of terroir provided by the lieux-dits (single vineyards), to create a balanced representation of the small (8 miles) yet complex region that they work in, to communicate the idiosyncrasies of the vintage, and to create a tac-tile narrative of place. This wine is precise, pure, and very aromatic with grapefruit and violet leading to a persistent and bright finish with a salty freshness that is the hallmark of Seneca Lake. - Hillick and Hobbs Estate Vineyard Riesling
The inaugural vintage from our steep-sloped estate presents a delicate bouquet of spring white flowers and tangerine peel mingled with accents of wet slate. Elegant and inviting on the palate, crisp pear and lime zest highlights are underscored by bright acidity and lingering mineral notes that seamlessly glide into a clean and vibrant finish. - Chateau de Saint Cosme Cotes du Rhone Les Deux Albions
Les Deux Albions is one of the outstanding wines of Louis Barruol’s collection and highlights the exceptional value that can still be found in the Côtes-du-Rhône category. The wine combines depth, structure, and finesse with aromas and flavors of roasted game, mesquite, and olive, crushed plum, and black currants. - Crocus L'Atelier Malbec de Cahors
Dark garnet color. Fresh violet, cherry blossom, red and black fruit such as Burlat cherry and blackcurrant jam, finishing with a soft hint of spices. The palate is smooth, giving black cherry, fresh raspberry and ripe blueberry flavors. Its persistence ends with firm tannins and bright acidity.
