Director of Education Gwendolyn Osborn’s enthusiasm for wine is matched only by her encyclopedic knowledge of it. She has been navigating the wine world for over 17 years, working with institutions such as Wine Spectator and Wine.com, and earning the prestigious Diploma from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) along the way. She is also a certified Bordeaux educator and specializes in the region. Her goal is to help consumers understand what they like and how to describe it, though introducing someone to a new wine that makes them say “wow” is her greatest delight! Travel to wine regions in France, Italy, Australia, South America, and South Africa (to name but a few) has only increased Gwendolyn’s love for all things vinous, especially her favorites Champagne and Chardonnay. While bulding and managing the recommendations team at Wine.com, she closely followed industry trends by listening to consumers and guiding them with her expert recommendations. Now working with projects in wine education, Gwendolyn continues to help consumers enjoy wine on a greater level.

After four decades in the wine industry, Chief Storyteller Wilfred Wong has seen, photographed, and written about it all. From his humble beginnings at his parent’s store in Haight-Ashbury, he’s traveled the world gaining firsthand knowledge of wine regions and the producers that bring those regions to life. As a respected wine reviewer, sought-after wine judge and overall expert in the field, Wilfred has developed an impressive social media following and now shares his vast expertise – and love for Pinot Noir - with the Wine.com community. But the real challenge is that Wilfred aims to taste and review 100 to 200 wines per month, which tallies to an impressive 5,000 to 6,000 per year! Thankfully he’s up to the task and has rated over 3,500 wines for Wine.com.
